Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Feature Minder. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Feature Minder ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Feature Minder is a feedback management platform that enables product teams to collect, organize, and prioritize user feedback. The Service includes:

  • Public feedback portals for collecting ideas and feature requests
  • Voting and commenting on submitted ideas
  • Roadmap visualization and planning tools
  • Changelog and release notes publishing
  • Workspace management and team collaboration features

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these acceptable use provisions.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-submitted content), features, and functionality are owned by Feature Minder and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Feature Minder.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service ("User Content"), including ideas, comments, and feedback. By submitting User Content, you grant Feature Minder a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the right to submit the User Content
  • Your User Content does not infringe the rights of any third party
  • Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws

We may remove User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful or objectionable.

7. Payment and Billing

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. If you choose a paid plan:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan
  • Billing occurs on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) as selected
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy
  • We may change pricing with 30 days advance notice

Free plans are provided "as is" and may have usage limitations. We reserve the right to modify free plan features at any time.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine:

  • Violates these Terms or any applicable law
  • Is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
  • Is fraudulent or deceptive

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Account deletion is subject to the data retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Feature Minder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Service

In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we will provide additional notice (such as email notification).

Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Australia.
